Many high school seniors are uncertain about their futures. They don’t know whether they should go to college, get jobs or join the military. At the Brooklyn Center campus of Globe University/Minnesota School of Business, we invite high school seniors to get to know us. We have programs to help students jump-start their college careers. We also have special scholarships designed just for high school seniors and recent graduates.

Scholarships for high school seniors
Our scholarships for high school students who qualify include:
- High School Advantage program. If a high school senior enrolls in a degree program at GU/MSB-Brooklyn Center, he or she will be eligible to take up to four courses tuition-free—one course per quarter until beginning the college program. Students with GPAs of 2.0 or higher are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- President’s Scholarship for graduating seniors. A student who applies for admission to GU/MSB-Brooklyn Center before either January 1 or April 1 of the senior year and has a cumulative GPA of 2.0 will qualify for a scholarship award of $2,000 (if the application is submitted before January 1) or $1,000 (if the application is submitted before April 1).
- Director’s Academic Scholarship for graduating seniors. This scholarship award is determined by the student’s performance on the Career Profile Assessment test (CPAt). A student can receive up to $5,000, depending on his or her test score.
Each of these scholarships has other eligibility requirements. A representative will be happy to talk with you about them and about other financial aid options. Students who thought that school was not possible are often able to earn college degrees because of scholarships.
Flexible scheduling options
Students are able to choose among different schedules—full time, part time, days, evenings and weekends. They can elect to take some or all of their classes online. They can take classes at any of our upper Midwest locations. They can take hybrid courses that combine online classes with classes at our Brooklyn Center campus or other locations. We go the extra mile to make sure that scheduling is not an obstacle to earning a college degree.
