Richard has been an attorney since 1990.  He started his own law firm directly out of law school handling a variety of legal issues including criminal defense, family law, bankruptcy, personal injury, municipal law, prosecution, probate and corporate law.  In 1995 he became a full time Public Defender in Minnesota and later worked part time with that state agency while maintaining his private practice.  Richard has worked with paralegals for many years.  In August of 2006 Richard and his family moved to Yap, Federated States of Micronesia for two years, where he was the State Public Defender.  He returned to the United States to continue his legal practice and teaching career. 

Richard has been involved in coaching a Mock Trial team in Buffalo, Minnesota, judging the U.S. Constitution Competitions in Minnesota and the High School Law Day competition in the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM).  He has been an active member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Minnesota Public Defender’s Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association’s 18th District (Wright, Sherburne and Isanti Counties), as well as the Yap State Bar Association and FSM Bar Association.  In 2003 Richard published a Prosecutorial Training Manuel for the Kosrae Attorney General’s Office in the FSM.  Richard has drafted Environmental Protection Agency legislation for three of the four states in the FSM.

Dominic Anyanwu

Experience

Dominic Anyanwy is working toward a PhD in Organizational Management from North Central University-Arizona.  he is a licensed private investigator and social worker.  Previously he was Assistant Superintendent of Boys Totem Town; and Correctional Counselor, Parole Officer and Program Director at the Indiana Department of Corrections.

Meg Neubauer

Education:

BS: Paralegal Studies: Winona State University, Winona, MN

Currently working on MS Legal Studies, California University of Pennsylvania

Litigation Paralegal

Meg Neubauer has worked as a litigation paralegal in private law firms and corporate law departments in Minnesota and Iowa since 1984. She has worked on personal injury, employment, dram shop and medical malpractice cases, including assisting attorneys with witnesses and exhibits at trial and maintaining documents in multi-plaintiff and complex litigation cases.

Meg started working at MSB/Globe in 2005 as an instructor and became the Legal Program Coordinator at the Brooklyn Center campus the same year. 

Meg is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Paralegal Association and National Federation of Paralegal Associations.
