They are involved in a variety of student activities that reinforce classroom learning and provide opportunities for networking and friendships. Students do not come to campus solely to attend class. You can find them in the library, the commons area or the computer lab.
Our accomplished and experienced faculty
Our faculty members are experienced professionals in their fields. Many of them continue to work while teaching part-time. This is invaluable to our students, who benefit from their exposure to people working regularly in fields such as massage therapy, information technology or accounting. Whether or not they are currently practicing their professions, our instructors have academic credentials in addition to experience in their fields.
They have a wide array of interesting accomplishments. Some have written books and articles on topics in their fields. Our faculty includes retired army officers, current state troopers and members of rock bands. Students often say that they feel fortunate to have teachers such as these. Faculty enjoy teaching our Brooklyn Center students and return year after year.
