The right training and a great career

People with IT credentials have opportunities to work in jobs such as:

  • Computer support specialist
  • Systems administrator
  • Computer programmer
  • Software engineer
  • Database administrator
  • Systems analyst

A four-year degree in three years

A student can earn either a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree. Because GU/MSB offers classes throughout the year, students can usually complete these programs in either three years for BS degrees or 21 months for AAS degrees. Some students reduce the number of classes they need to take by receiving credit for prior learning and work experience or military training.

Online IT degrees = convenience

Students can earn associate or bachelor’s degrees online, making it possible for them to attend school while working, traveling or caring for their families. Our online division has developed an extensive support system that means that students are never more than a click away from answers about software, questions for an instructor or conversations with fellow-students.

Certifications add weight to your resume

Students in the IT degree programs are prepared for industry certifications such as the following:

  • A+ Essentials certification from CompTIA
  • Network+ certification from CompTIA
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
