Associate in music business
This two-year degree covers three aspects of the music business:
- General business skills: sales, promotion, accounting, business law, HR management and business law
- The music industry: artist management, live performance, copyrights, publishing, radio, television and internet
- Audio production: a taste of ProTools and MIDI, and knowledge of how an audio engineer can enhance your artist’s talent
Graduates of the associate in music business program are qualified to continue their studies in our bachelor's in media business 2 + 2 program.
Opportunities for people with music business training:
Graduates are prepared for positions with agencies or corporations or for careers as independent contractors. Positions might include the following:
