Business Management, a Degree With Focus


In our business management degree program, you will combine fundamental business training with a focus in your area of interest or expertise. Globe University/Minnesota School of Business-Brooklyn Center offers a bachelor's in business management, and our online division offers both the bachelor's and a master's.

Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Students complete two years of general business coursework, followed by two years of a concentration. The following emphases, followed by topics addressed, are offered at our Brooklyn Center college:

  • Agricultural business. Agricultural finance, cooperatives, commodities, agricultural markets and pricing
  • Human resources management. Organizational behavior, intercultural communications, art of persuasion, employment law, workplace diversity, compensation, recruitment and retention
  • Marketing. Finance, marketing strategy, entrepreneurship, advertising, sale management, internet marketing and marketing research.
  • Music business. Music fundamentals, entertainment networking, recording industry, audio engineering, artist management and live performance, copyright and music publishing, music business current trends and marketing strategy
  • Hospitality management.  Casino management, food service management, hospitality management and consumer behavior

Master of Science in Management (MSM). Offered through our online division, the MSM program is for students with experience in health care, information technology or business.
